The Best Connection in Worthing are recruiting for our Arundel based client, a well established blast cleaning and metal finishing firm.

Our client works with leading engineering and metalwork companies, so this is an excellent opportunity to join a business at entry level, learn a trade and develop a career.

Experience of metalwork is not essential although may be advantageous. Ideally you will have a current counterbalance FLT licence and be used to working in an industrial environment.

The main duties are wrapping, stacking and loading of finished products. You should be expecting to be working in a “hands-on” role and therefore be physically capable of lifting heavy metal items.

Additionally due to the nature of the work, the environment can at times be hot and dirty, please do not apply unless you are comfortable with this.

Working hours are from Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00, although you may be required to work a longer shift depending on the daily requirements.

This position may lead to an ongoing permanent role for the right candidate.
