The Best Connection are seeking to recruit a HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Driver to work with their client in Darlington. Our client provides domestic and international standard parcel services for business customers and consumers. They have a requirement for a Class 1 Night Driver.
The role:
- You will be required to do trunk runs to their hub in the Midlands. Tip and reload and run back to the Darlington site in curtain sider vehicle.
- Experience is desired as this job role is speedy, efficient and accurate delivery to customers at set times.
The candidate:
- Valid and in date HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence, CPC & Digi Card
- Smart appearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude to customer care.
Hours of work:
- On going work available
- 19.45pm shift start time Monday to Friday
Pay Rates
- Night Shift: £14.00 per hour (PAYE) basic rate
- Enhanced rate for working weekends
