Class 1 Driver – Trunking | Normanton WF6 | Immediate Starts
The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers for trunking work with our trusted and friendly client based in Normanton (WF6).
This is a great opportunity for drivers with at least 3 months of Class 1 driving experience, including new pass drivers who are confident and competent behind the wheel.
Job Overview:
- Trunking Route: Normanton → Manchester → Normanton (repeat)
- Start Time: 15:00, Monday to Friday
- No handball involved – just trunking between depots
- Full driving assessment required (includes reversing/maneuvering)
- Pay Rates (PAYE – plus holiday pay accrual):
- Mon to Fri: £15.88 per hour (basic)
- After 10 hours: £28.80 per hour
- Saturday: £18.81 per hour
- Sunday: £22.58 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £23.82 per hour
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence
- In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 9 points (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
- Confident with reversing and maneuvering
- Must pass a driving assessment before starting
