The Best Connection are working with our BILLINGHAM based client to source additional C+E (Class 1) Shunter Drivers for their expanding operation. 

There are on going as well as Ad hoc positions available

The role:

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• No "Hand-balling" involved!
• The Safe and Timely Operation of a Shunting Vehicle
• All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
• Occasional Trunk runs as needed
• Using website-based delivery scheduling
• Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork

Hours of work:

• 12 hour shifts - Days & Nights
• Day shift 06.00am – 18.00pm
• Night shift 18.00pm – 06.00am
• 4 on / 4 off (7 day working)

The candidate:

• C+E (Class One) Licence
• In date CPC and DIGI Card
• Experience using box trailers preferred

Rewards:

• £16.25 per hour (PAYE) for all nightshift hours worked
• £15.04 per hour (PAYE) for all dayshift hours worked
• (Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays are part of standard working week)
