The Best Connection are working with our BILLINGHAM based client to source additional HGV C+E (Class 1) DAY SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation. 

There are on going as well as Ad hoc positions available

The role:

• Starting at the Billingham hub you will be driving across the country to deliver goods using box trailers.
• There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved
• The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
• All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
• Achieving delivery slots
• Using website-based delivery scheduling
• Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork

Hours of work:

• 06.00am – 18.00pm 7 day working

The candidate:

• C+E (Class One) Licence
• In date CPC and DIGI Card
• Experience using box  trailers preferred

Rewards:

• £15.04 per hour (PAYE) for all hours worked
• Saturday and Sunday are part of standard working week
