The Best Connection are working closely in partnership with our client to source additional HGV Class 2 (LGV C ) DAY SHIFT DRIVERS to work from their Thirsk depot.

*We have adhoc as well as long term roles available*

The role:

• Safe operation of a Class Two (C ) vehicle. 
• Usually 3 or 4 drops.
• Goods loaded and unloaded by Fork Truck/ Crane
• Some Strapping required, Steel Products
• Brand new fleet

The candidate:

• "C" licence (Class 2) with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements.
• In date CPC and Digi card.
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Hours of work:

• Start times are 06.00 / 07.00 Monday to Friday
• Overtime available

Pay Rates:

• £27.00 Sundays / Bank Holidays
• £20.25 After 8 hours per day / all Saturday
• £13.50 per hour for first 8 hours Monday to Friday
