The Best Connection is looking for experienced Class 1 drivers for a variety of clients based in Milton Keynes. The desired candidate must be local and live within the Milton Keynes/Buckingham area.
You must hold a valid LGV C+E, Class 1 UK licence with no more than 6 points, a UK digital tachograph card & a full DQC (CPC card).
Pay rates and Shifts will be confirmed on the time of booking.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
Qualifications:
- A Full valid UK Licence with Category C+E,
- A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card,
- No more than 6 points on your licence,
- Minimum of 2 year experience of Class 1 driving,
- Good knowledge of the UK roads,
- Clear and concise communication skills.
