Class 1 HGV Day Drivers Mon to Fri - temporary work. Week commencing Monday 14th April.

The Best Connection is an Employment Business recruiting on behalf of our client.

We are recruiting HGV CLASS 1 DAY DRIVERS to work on a temporary basis, full-time Mon - Fri operating from our client’s yard near Howden, Goole. 

DUTIES :

• Bulk regional delivery & collection work. Trailer changes involved in regular customer daily service, drop an empty & hook up loaded.
• All palletised goods, no hand-balling. Some trunk work occasionally.
• May also be asked to drive 7.5t and sprinter van but all paid at class 1 rate.
• Usually 08:30 starts.

PAY :

• £ 15.50 PER HOUR (FLAT RATE)
• GUARANTEED MINIMUM 9 HOURS PER DAY 

REQUIREMENT :

• CE ENTITLEMENT ON UK LICENCE WITH VALID CPC & DIGI CARD.
• NO DD/DR/CD OR TT99 ENDORSEMENTS PLEASE
• AT LEAST 3-6 MONTHS OF CE DRIVING EXPERIENCE IN THE UK
• GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• GOOD GEOGRAPHICAL KNOWLEDGE OF UK ROADS.

 Successful online registration with our agency is required prior to starting work
