Class 1 HGV Day Driver Mon to Fri AD HOC

The Best Connection is an Employment Business recruiting on behalf of our client.

We are recruiting an HGV CE DAY DRIVER FOR AD HOC WORK to operate from our client’s yard near Howden, Goole. The bookings for this client are ad hoc in nature but we may be able to supply other work with similar client’s in our area. We have a start for the week commencing Mon 14th April running up to Easter & the week after this.

Our client covers a number of different kinds of class 1 curtain side trailer work, ferry trailers, general haulage & some agricultural work.

The successful applicant must be prepared to start early in the morning circa 05.30.

PAY :

• £ 14.50 PER HOUR
• GUARANTEED MINIMUM 8 HOURS PER DAY
• A 45 MIN BREAK IS NOT PAID EACH DAY

REQUIREMENT :

• CE ENTITLEMENT ON UK LICENCE WITH VALID CPC & DIGI CARD.
• NO MORE THAN 9 POINTS FOR MINOR INFRINGEMENTS
• NO DD/DR/CD OR TT99 ENDORSEMENTS PLEASE
• AT LEAST 3-6 MONTHS OF CE DRIVING EXPERIENCE IN THE UK
• GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• GOOD GEOGRAPHICAL KNOWLEDGE OF UK ROADS.
