The Best Connection Goole are an employment business recruiting on behalf of our client. 

Our client is an established international company who have a depot based in Goole. We are looking for a Class 1 Day driver for immediate start to work Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis.

The successful candidate must possess a current and valid Class 1 HGV Licence (C+E) which they must have had for at least 1 year and have curtain sider haulage experience with good load securing skills.  CPC and digi card  are also required. Start times are usually 05.30 to 06.00 but may vary depending on the daily requirements. 

The work entails general haulage but with a heavy bias to timber distribution. 

PAY RATE : 

£ 15.00 PER HOUR FOR ALL HOURS WORKED 

ALL BREAKS ARE PAID 

GUARANTEED MINIMUM PAYMENT OF 9 HOURS A DAY. 

Requirements of the Class 1 HGV Driver 

• A professional, courteous and friendly customer facing manner. 
• C+E Entitlement on their licence with at least 1 years driving experience at CE. 
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK mainland. 
• At least 5 years accident free. 

Must have no more than 9 minor points on their licence and no DD ,DR, IN10 convictions will be accepted. 

Suitable proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
