Willand HGV Class 2 (LGV Cat C) Day Drivers required paying £34,598.40 per year. This position will become permanent after a successful trial period is complete. Duties include Dray deliveries with a Drivers mate to businesses across the South West, working for one of the leading, historic brewers of lagers, ales, and craft beers in the UK.
Pay Rates:
- Weekly pay of £665.35
- Annual salary of £34,598.40
- Salary is based on a guaranteed 48 paid hours per week
- Bank holidays paid at double time for 9.6 hours minimum
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- 04:30-06:30 starts
Duties:
- Dray deliveries with a Drivers mate across the South West.
- Driving a range of vehicles from 3.5T vans up to 26T trucks.
- Heavy lifting & manual handling is an essential part of the role. Full training will be provided during induction.
- Working closely with the Driver’s Mate and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of stock.
- Working to a busy schedule with tight time window deliveries.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Minimum of one year’s driving experience (preferred).
- Clear understanding of the Drivers Hours & Working Time Regulations.
- Building working relationships with your customers delivering excellent customer service,
- Excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude & a team player.
- Knowledge of the South West would be a huge advantage.
