The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers to work with their client in Newton Aycliffe. Our client is an independent carrier of parcels & pallets. They have a requirement for a day drivers to support them on an ad hoc basis with ongoing work available.
The role:
- Requires driving HGV up to 18t MAM.
- Deliver large goods/packages to various destinations.
- Complete pre and post op inspection of vehicle.
- You may also be required to load and unload goods/products into your vehicle.
The candidate:
- Valid and in date HGV Class 2 (LGV C) licence, CPC & Digi Card
- Minimum age 23
- Maxiumum points 6
- 2 years commercial driving experience.
Hours of work:
- Start time is 08.00am
- Monday to Friday
Pay Rates
- Day Shift: £14.00 per hour (PAYE) - flat rate all hours
