The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Night Trunk Drivers to work with our client based in Shildon.

Our client is a well-established flooring distributor, and they have a requirement for night trunk drivers to support their operation on an ad hoc basis, with ongoing work available.

The Role:

• Night trunking work using Class 2 vehicles
• Delivery of flooring products to depots
• Tip and return with empty vehicle
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations

The Candidate:

• Valid and in-date HGV Class 2 (LGV C) licence, CPC & Digi Card
• Minimum age: 25
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• Minimum 12 months of commercial Class 2 driving experience

Hours of Work:

• Start time: 18:00
• Shifts available on an ad hoc basis with potential for ongoing work
