The Best Connection are seeking to recruit experienced HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Night Drivers to work with our client based in Newton Aycliffe. Our client is a well-established logistics and transportation company, providing a wide range of supply chain solutions across the UK. They currently have requirements for professional drivers to support their operations on both an ad hoc basis, and ongoing work also available.

The Role:
- Driving HGVs up to 44t MAM, typically articulated vehicles and occasionally free-standing trailers.
- Delivering large goods/packages to various destinations including RDC's - not store deliveries.
- Completing pre- and post-operation vehicle checks.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence, CPC & Digi Tachograph Card.
- Minimum age: 21.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
- 2 years commercial HGV driving experience.
Hours of Work:
- Night shifts only
- Start time: 16:00PM
- Monday to Sunday availability required
Pay Rate (PAYE):
- £16.00 per hour for hours worked Monday to Friday
- £18.00 per hour for hours worked Saturday
- £19.00 per hour for hours worked Sunday
