The Best Connection are currently recruiting for multiple Class 2 tanker drivers for our client which is a family-run business based in the Gravesend area. 

You will be responsible for the extraction and disposal of drainage. Duties will include driving the vehicle to site where you will be required to operate the machinery to remove any drainage or waste from the area and will be required to be discarded. Area of operations will be mainly the South East of England but can be further if needed to be.  

They operate 7 days a week and can be 12 hour shifts and start times can vary, hence we will need drivers who are fully flexible. 

The client is looking for drivers who are seeking ongoing work and they are looking for the right fit to their diverse, hard working team. Our client is open to newly qualified Class 2 drivers but preferably the driver would have at least a years worth of experience driving a Class 2 vehicle and has some sort of experience in gully sucking. Training will be provided upon arrival at site and only after successful hiring.  

Pay rate for the role is £16p/h and you will be working up to 12 hours a day if needed. Your days will be starting at 6am but could change depending on the needs of the client. This is an ongoing position with the chance of a full time role with a close knit company. 

Requirements and responsibilities for the drivers: 

• Pre and post vehicle checks 
• Assistance of drainage removal 
• Class 2 driving experience is preferred 
• Max of 6 points on licence, no DD/DR endorsements
