The Best Connection are currently seeking for HGV 7.5T Drivers to complete on going work for our highly prestigious client based in Dartford, Kent.
As a 7.5 Tonne driver, you will be tasked with the delivery of products to customer houses in locations around Kent, London and South East corner with the help of a drivers mate.
Flexibility and weekend availability would be required as rotas are planned in across 7 days.
Experience of customer service and deliveries to customers would be beneficial and preferred. As some of the products are heavy, a level of fitness would be required.
Pay rates
- Monday to Friday - £14 Per Hour - (Overtime after 8 hours - £21 Per Hour)
- Saturday pay rate - £21 Per hour.
- Sunday pay rate - £28 Per Hour.
Start times
- Monday to Friday - 7am or 11am (Depending on the route and loads that you may have).
- Saturday/Sunday - 7am or 11am (Depending on the route and loads that you may have).
Duties
- Delivery of goods to customers houses
- Completing essential paperwork and order sheets
- Supporting drivers mate with unloading goods when required.
- Completing deliveries according Kent, London and SE
Driving responsibilities and requirements:
- Vehicle checks
- HGV Commercial driving experience – Essential
- Maximum of 6 points on licence, no DD/DR codes
- Manual lifting
- Customer service
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety
