Job: Class II HGV Driver
Location: Crawley RH10
Pay: 17.00PAYE
The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 2 Drivers for work for our client in the Crawley area for a full time permanent role starting initially as a temp to perm solution for a 12 weeks trial period.
The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C Licence, Digi tacho and CPC card.
Hours of Work:
- Tuesday to Saturday : 05:00am starts.

Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver:
- Operate a Class 2 vehicle from Crawley to various locations the UK. Complete deliveries of packaging materials across the UK.
- Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels; safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
- Delivering heavy goods to customer homes and sites. Customer service skills required with use of a pump truck.
- Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others daily to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Class 2 Driver:
- Category C Licence.
- CPC.
- Digi Tacho.
- DBS Required – Secured via The Best Connection
- Previous experience driving CAT C vehicles required
Due to the location and start times own transport is required.
