Position: Class 1 HGV Driver
Location: Kingstown
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Nights)
 

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to join our friendly and easy going client based in Kingstown Carlisle. This role involves trunk work, primarily between their base, the Midlands, and Scotland. You'll be driving well-maintained vehicles and working consistent routes, providing reliable service on behalf of our valued client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and responsibly
• Complete trunk routes to the Midlands and Scotland.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain and inspect vehicle condition before and after shifts
• Communicate effectively with dispatch for updates and route adjustments

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV license
• Valid CPC and tachograph card
• Ideally have experience driving Class 1 vehicles (trunking experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
• Ability to work independently and professionally
