The Best Connection Bedford require HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) to work for our company based in MK45. You'll be undertaking the delivery & collection of palletised products to customer sites. Clean, modern fleet of trucks and preloaded trailers.

Details:

• Monday to Friday 07.00am start 
• Ongoing work available
• Temporary to Permanent opportunity following successful trial period

Rates of pay:

• Basic pay rate £16.51 per hour 

LGV/HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer's premises or other locations.
• ​Delivering palletised products on behalf of our client and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements:
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations

 Requirements of the LGV/HGV Class 2 Driver

• A full UK Cat C licence (essential)
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN)
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
