The Best Connection Bedford are recruiting for LGV Cat C+E (HGV Class 1) drivers for our client in Bedfordshire for an immediate start. The role will involve local collections and deliveries of units that have been repaired by the workshop. 

Pay rate:

• £19 per hour

Working hours: 

• 16:00 - 01:00 

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Driving multiple vehicles including van, 7.5 tonne, Class 2 and Class 1
• Ability to complete record sheets and paperwork accurately 

Requirements of HGV1 Class 1 Driver:

• Good understanding of driver's hours regulations
• Good understanding of safety on the road and when loading and unloading 
• Must be able to follow construction sites H&S code of practice
• Hold a UK Licence, CPC and DIGI tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points (No DD DR)
• Must have the correct PPE - HI Vis and Safety Boots (can be provided)
• Good customer service
• 1 year experience
