The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking Class 1 / C+E Drivers for one of our key clients in Thatcham.
This is part time, but consistent work, with the opportunity to go full-time. Will consist of at least two to three days a week.
Rate of Pay:
- £17.00 per hour (minimum of 8.5 hours, Monday to Friday)
Hours of work:
- ADHOC Work
- Staggered start times
Responsibilities of the Class 1 Driver:
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle from Thatcham to various locations
- Load and unload of vehicle with use of roll cages
- Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls)
- Report any safety issues on standard reports
- Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely
- Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures
Requirements of the Class 1 Driver:
- To be able to successfully pass a driving assessment
- Category C+E Licence
- CPC
- Digi Tacho
The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C+E Licence, DIGI taco and CPC card.
