HGV Driver

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 2 HGV (LGV C) Driver's to fill a position in for a client based in Gateshead. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Class 2 HGV Licence and must have a Valid CPC and Digi Tachograph Card
This role would involve multiple drops across the North East using a pallet truck delivering to business and residential customers. You must have experience operating a tail lift. Drops can consist between 5 to 15 including collections.
There is currently day shifts available and a typical working day usually lasts no longer than 10 hours.
Our client works throughout the week - shifts are Monday - Friday.
Requirements of the Class 2 HGV Driver:
Class 2 Driver (HGV) with Valid CPC and Digi Card
Flexibility in terms of shifts
Must have no more than 6 points on licence
Verifiable references
Compensation of the Class 2 HGV Driver:
Basic pay rate: £10.00 per hour (PAYE) for first 8 hours worked.
Time and a half is payable after 8 hours worked (£15.00per hour PAYE).
Immediate starts available.
