The Best Connection Newcastle are seeking to recruit full time Goods In Operatives to work with their client in Westerhope. The client is a UK leading distributor and wholesaler of pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products.
The role:
- Offloading delivery vehicles and counting stock
- Checking quantities are correct and ensuring product is not damaged
- Sorting and storing medical products in the warehouse
- General housekeeping duties
The candidate:
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment is desirable
- Although the product isn't heavy, the role is very fast paced, so the candidate must be physically fit
- Flexible to work weekends as well as weekdays
- Able to work over 48hrs per week
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday (7am until 3pm)
- Saturday (8am until 12pm)
- Candidates are expected to be able to work Saturdays
Pay Rates:
- £10.42 per hour basic rate for first 39 hours
- £15.75 per hour overtime rate after 39 hours worked
- Ongoing assignment
