General Operative(s) Required!

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for General Operative(s) to work for one of our clients based at Glasgow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global aviation catering company.

• Pay: £12.24ph 
• Shift: 5 days out of 7
• Shift Times: 8 hour shift start times 06:00, 07:00, 08:00, 09:00 (Must be flexible)
• Location: Glasgow Airport 
• Duration: Ongoing, Temp to Perm Opportunities 
• Full Uniform and PPE provided

Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following: 

• Be willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!) 
• Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!) 
• Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc) 
• Be able to provide a full 5-year address history  
• Be willing to attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us!) 

Role of a General Operative:  

• Clean each area of the unit in accordance with the cleaning schedule. 
• Ensure all chemicals are kept locked in the chemical cupboard when not in use. 
• Ensure timely replenishment of food hygiene items ie, hairnets, beard snoods, hand wash soap, sanitisers. 
• To ensure all airline products are to specification. 
• Pack carts to the required standard and in accordance with passenger volumes. 
• Ensuring stock levels are maintained to the required levels and organized as per production schedule. 

Requirements of a General Operative: 

• Minimum 1 years' experience in catering (desirable). 
• Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken. 
• Adhere to clean as you go standard & inflight services security compliance. 
• Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.
