We are currently recruiting on behalf of a busy client of ours in Wye for an ESTATE MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE for an immediate start. 

£11.44- £12.00 per hour

Monday to Friday role 07:30-16:30

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on estate buildings, grounds and machinery including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Carry out grounds maintenance, such as lawn care, hedge trimming, and litter picking.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Assist with minor refurbishments and improvements where required.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in estate maintenance or a similar hands-on role is preferred.
• A general understanding of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual work.
