The Best Connection Bedford are currently recruiting Nightshift Food Production Operatives for our long term client in Biggleswade that produces ingredients for international fast food/supermarkets and retailers. Working within an experienced team, successful candidates will be provided with full training on the process from start to finish with regular opportunities to develop and gain a permanent contract after successful trial period.

Job Duties

• Opening and weighing of ingredients for the production team
• Handling food products
• Operating machinery to produce food based goods to customer specification
• Following a specification and using computers
• Lifting up to 25kg of mixture
• Loading crates with finished product
• Working to company Health & safety standards at all times

Hours of work

• Working hours (40 hours per week)
• Sunday to Thusrday 22.00pm - 06:00am 

Pay Rates

• £13.50 per hour for the first 40 hours worked per week, increasing to £14.85 after 12 weeks.
• £18.68 per hour for any hours completed 40+ per week, increasing to £20.25 after 12 weeks.
