Our Wolverhampton based client is looking to recruit a experienced Warehouse Operative to join their existing team based in the Wolverhampton area. 

There is 1 fixed Afternoon position and 1 fixed Day position available for the suitable candidate. 

Please note - A driving licence is required for this role due to driving company vehicle 

 Jobs / Duties 

• Order picking of parts for all services
• Checking of items for shipping - Wrapping and strapping of pallets
• Use handheld scanners for picking/storage/delivery verifications
• Load / unload vehicles with FLT ensuring weight limitations are adhered to
• Checking off deliveries to paperwork - Inspection and cleaning of containers
• Driving company vehicles for multi-drop deliveries 
• Breaking down of empty packaging
• Quality inspections/relabelling/repacking tasks
• Handball/pallet offload of sea freight containers
• Perpetual stock counts - Customer deliveries / collections
• General housekeeping
•  Inspect MHE/company vehicles pre-use 

Working Hours:

AFTERNOONS

40 hours per week

Mon to Thur 14:30 – 23:00 Fri 13:00 – 21:30

DAYS

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30

Payrate:

DAYS £12.31ph

AFTERNOONS £13.53ph 

Key skills/experience needed to apply for this role

• Previous warehouse experience
• Excellent eye for detail 
• Experience using handheld scanner 
• Able to work along or as part of a small team
• FLT licenses preferred (counterbalance/reach truck)
• UK Driver’s license 
• Basic knowledge of health and safety 
• Manual handling
