We have an immediate requirement for FORKLIFT TRUCK Counterbalance Drivers (5 ton) to work with a leading manufacturing company based in SG19 (SANDY). This is with a long established company and will involve a mixture of yard duties as well as forklift operation, manual handling and heavy lifting is a requirement of the job role.
Hours of work
- Monday - Thursday 06.00 - 18.00hrs
- Pay rate is £13.40 per hour
Requirements
- FLT 5 ton Counterbalance Licence
- Previous yard operative/construction or labouring experience desirable
- Ability to carry out repeated manual handling tasks with some heavy lifting up to 25kg
- Good knowledge of safe on-site health and safety practices, with the ability to work unsupervised
- Hard working and a good team player
General duties
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock around the warehouse and as required
- Ensure that quality checks are completed
- Operating plant equipment and driving the Counterbalance FLT
- General organising and tidying of the warehouse
