The Best Connection are looking to recruit an Electrically Biased, Controls/Automation Engineer for our client, based in Goole. This is a full time position with a view to going Permanent following a successful probation period.

The Successful Applicant

• An experienced Electrical Biased Maintenance/Automation experience ideally from a warehouse/logistics background
• A recognised qualification in Engineering.
• An understanding in PLC and SCADA systems is desirable
• Proficiency in automation software and programming languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Ability to work on your own or as part of a wider team

The Role:

• Design and develop range of control & conveyor based automation systems
• PLC programming / testing
• System assembly & in-house testing
• Project management
• Produce technical documents
• Assistance with on-site installation/commissioning
• Occasional overseas travel

The Person:

• Controls / Automation Engineer
• Experience with Siemens & Allen Bradley preferred
• Looking to make an impact within a family run business.
• Happy with occasional travel
