Driver's Mate - Ebbw Vale

Location: Ebbw Vale

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Start Times: Between 05:00am and 07:00am

Days: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday work)

About the Role

The Best Connection - Newport are currently recruiting for a Driver's Mate to work with our client based in Ebbw Vale.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, physical work and being part of a busy delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the driver with deliveries to various locations
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
• Helping with navigation and route planning as required
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Supporting with general warehouse or vehicle duties when needed

Candidate Requirements:

• A positive, reliable, and flexible attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
• Previous experience as a driver's mate or in a similar role is beneficial but not essential

Hours and Pay:

• Start times between 05:00am and 07:00am
• Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work
• £12.21 per hour
• Paid weekly through The Best Connection - Newport
