The Best Connection Bedford are currently seeking a Dispatch Supervisor on a temporary to permanent basis for our prestigious client in the MK42 (Kempston)

Details

• Pay Rate £13.00 per hour
• Working hours are 8:00am - 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am - 12:00pm Friday

Responsibilities of the Dispatch Supervisor

• Organise and collate customer orders for dispatch
• Ensure daily dispatch dates are met
• Carry out or supervise the final quality checks prior to dispatch
• Supervise the packing area to ensure that goods are packed efficiently
• Involvement in the packaging and palletising of products
• Ensure that the Company dispatch schedule is kept up to date with dispatch information
• Cover administrative role when personnel are on leave

Requirements of the Dispatch Supervisor

• Previous Supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
• Good approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and able to work to deadlines under pressure
• Common sense approach to problem-solving
• Computer literate
• Comfortable working to strict deadlines
• Great communication skills
• Be pro-active with a problem solving approach
