Our client who specialises in the design and supply of warehouse material handling products located in South Moons moat area of Redditch are recruiting for a Goods-In operative to join their forklift parts team.  Immediate interviews available with the position offering a permanent contract after the completion of a successful trial period. £12.50 per hour starting pay rate.

The position will involve the following duties:

• Goods - In taking inbound deliveries
• Checking contents of deliveries against purchase order quantities
• Checking products for damage or quality issues
• Booking goods in using in-house system and putting them away in their correct location
• Goods Out, taking parts requisition forms from counter & picking items and then booking them to their specific job
• Picking components to make a truck build which is then taken out to the allocated fitter
• Booking truck builds to allocated job
• Returning unrequired parts from jobs back to stores stock
• Despatch of parts to engineers (they collect & we also ship overnight pallets/parcels etc)
• Raising International waybills & shipping documents 
• APC/Transmec shipping documentation
• Processing returns i.e. service exchange or warranty items and processing invoices
• Answering incoming calls, dealing with customer e-mails
• Working closely alongside an experienced member of staff who will be responsible for on-going training of processes
• Once fully trained and on completion of successful trial period training will be provided on Bendi Trucks and order picking equipment.

Working hours / Pay rate:

• Working Monday to Thursday from 07.15 - 16.30 
• Fridays 07.30 - 11.30 
• £12.50 per hour starting pay rate, with pay review after 6 months service.
• £18.75 paid when overtime completed.
