The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a delivery driver for our client that specialises in tyre delivery. The company is a leading supplier of tyres to garages and automotive service centres across Kent and Sussex who pride themselves on the commitment to quality, reliability, and exceptional customer service.
Job Description:
As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the customers receive their tyre orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for completing double delivery runs, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, to various garages within Kent and Sussex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily delivery runs (AM and PM) to garages and service centres.
- Load and unload tyres from the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate and on time.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and report any discrepancies or issues.
Requirements:
- Valid Cat B driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical work.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of Kent and Sussex roads and routes.
