Aviation Connection have an exciting opportunity to join our client Wilson James at London Gatwick Airport as a CUSTOMER CARE AGENT. 

As a Customer Care Agent you will be a friendly face that holiday makers can depend on at the first step of their holiday, working closely with the Airport Operations Team to support travellers and ensure they have a seamless airport experience.The operation will be directly supporting the new airline which have increased their fleet numbers at LGW Airport, this is a great opportunity with the potential of permanent contracts for the right person.

RATE OF PAY: £12.68 per hour / £25.36 for any Bank Holidays worked - Weekly pay every Friday with lots of overtime available. 

HOURS:11:00-23:00 / 12:00-00:00 / 13:00-01:00

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 ON / 4 OFF!

MAIN DUTIES of a Customer Care Agent:

  • Being professional, polite and courteous at all times.
  • Escorting arriving and departing special assistance passengers (along with accompanying family as necessary) through the airport either on foot, by wheelchair or electric buggy/caddy as depicted by their categorisation.
  • Providing assistance with the passenger luggage.
  • Completing the Daily Equipment Check Sheet, to maintain the operational reliability of the equipment, reporting where necessary, any equipment defects in line with the equipment inspection procedure.
  • Ensuring that wheelchairs and buggies are always clean and tidy.
  • Ensure that Centralised Control is updated on progress by use of IT handsets.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed legibly and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Any additional reasonable duties, as assigned by operational management.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Great work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong Customer Service
  • Self-motivated and willing to work using own initiative
  • **Full  Driving licence**
  •  Ability to speak Urdu, Hindi, Gujarati, or a combination of these, highly desirable but not essential.
  • To multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Previous airport experience is an advantage but not essential
