The Best Connection Chesterfield are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Fork Lift Driver for one of our clients based in the Chesterfield area.

Our clients is looking for an experienced Fork Lift Driver to join their team on a night shift working 10 hours per day between the hours of 8pm to 6am. They ask that you have experience of loading Curtain sided rigid vehicles and double deck trailers in a fast paced environment. Experience of loading within the Pallet network Sector and having worked nights previously would be an advantage.

This is a temporary position but could turn into temp to perm for the right candidate.

Key duties:

• Using a Counterbalance FLT to load pallets to a variety of HGV’s
• Ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all times.
• Working to deadlines to ensure vehicles are loaded on time.
• Working on your independently as well as part of a wider team.

Skills and Experience:

• Must hold a valid, accredited Counterbalance licence.
• Must have experience loading HGV’s.
• Experience within the pallet network is advantageous.
• A can do attitude and happy to work the night shift.
