The Best Connection is proud to be working with a respected engineering firm known for its high-quality manufacturing and long-standing presence in the industry. Specialising in components and busbars for the Aerospace, Rail, and Motorsport sectors, they are now looking to expand their team with a skilled CNC Turner.
What You’ll Be Doing

Programming and setting CNC lathes to produce precision-engineered parts
Working with a range of control systems including ProtoTRAK and Fanuc
Reading technical drawings and ensuring components meet exact specifications
Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
Optionally, getting involved in CNC Milling or learning it on the job

What We’re Looking For

A completed engineering apprenticeship or a minimum of 3 years’ CNC turning experience
Confidence in programming and setting CNC lathes
Familiarity with ProtoTRAK is a plus, but experience with Fanuc or similar systems is also welcome
A solid grasp of machining principles, tooling, and materials
A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
A commitment to quality and safety

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30
Friday: 07:45 – 14:00
Overtime available and paid at 1.4x
