Sliding Head & Fixed Head CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator

We are looking for a skilled Sliding Head & Fixed Head CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our client's team on the Night/Late Shift. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with CNC machinery and programming.

• Pay: £16.00-£22.00 per hour
• 39-46 hours per week
• Night Shift
• Monday to Friday (flexible)
• Permanent Vacancy

Duties:

• Program and set up Sliding Head & Fixed Head CNC machines (online programming essential, offline CAD software available).
• Operate multiple CNC machines, ensuring accurate machining per engineering drawings.
• Conduct part inspections for quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot machine or programming issues with the team.
• Maintain production records and assist with component assembly and fabrication.
• Ensure machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.

Skills:

• Proven experience with Sliding Head & Fixed Head CNC machines and logic controllers.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a small team and handle materials safely.
• Familiarity with hand tools and assembly tasks.
