A great opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join the dynamic team at a private hospital near Kensington, London .
This is a full-time, on-going position with a pay rate of £14.87 p/h. Some flexibility to work over the weekend is required as the working hours are in a shift pattern, 5 shifts out of 7 in a week.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday: 07:00-15:00 | 13:00-21:00
- Saturday or Sunday: 08:00 - 16:00
About the Role:
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing all housekeeping operations, including laundry and waste management. You will lead and support a team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met across multiple locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and coordinating housekeeping staff.
- Developing and implementing cleaning schedules.
- Managing inventory to identify low-turn stock.
- Training and coaching team members.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conducting quality control checks.
- Collaborating with other departments
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisation and planning abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competent IT skills.
- Flexibility to work AM and PM shifts, Monday to Sunday, 5 out of 7 days.
