The Best Connection Bedford are currently recruiting for a full time Cleaning Operative role just outside of Bedford in Blunham. This is an excellent opportunity to provide a high quality cleaning service with one of our long standing clients.
The working hours are Monday - Friday 06.00 - 14.00 hrs
Pay rate is £12.21 per hour.
Responsibilities of the Cleaning Operative
- Clean and sanitise the production areas, kitchen, bathroom and offices areas to a high standard
- Hoover the carpets and floors of the offices, sweep and mop the hard floor surfaces
- Clean and sanitise work areas such as desks, surfaces and dry dust screens and general office equipment
- Empty and reline bins in communal areas such as offices and WCs
- Clean, sanitise and mop the washrooms and replace sundries as required
- Ensure cleaning is carried out to a high standard and leave communal areas to a good standard
Requirements of the Cleaner
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and honest
- Previous commercial cleaning experience an advantage
- Ability to work to target
- Awareness of COSHH and safe working practises when using chemicals
- Ability to carry out manual handling, light lifting such as emptying bins etc.
