The Best Connection Bedford are currently recruiting for Cleaning Operatives to join the team with one of our national contracts at Badgers Rise, Bedford
A DBS Check is an essential requirement for this role, all candidates will be required to have a DBS check before commencing work.
This is an on-going opportunity with shift patterns as follows:
Shift:
- Days 07.00 -19.00 hrs, 4 days on 4 days off working over 7 days to include weekends
- Nights 19.00 - 07.00, 4 Nights on 4 Nights off working over 7 days to include weekends
Pay rate:
- Days - £11.44 per hour
- Nights - £11.97 per hour
Responsibilities of the Cleaning Operative:
- Clean the warehouse and Communal areas of the warehouse to a good standard
- Hoover the carpets and floors of the offices,warehouse sweep and mop the hard floor surfaces
- Clean and sanitise work areas such as desks, surfaces and dry dust screens and general office equipment
- Follow EHS regulations at all times and report hazards, clean spillages as required.
- Clean, sanitise and mop the washrooms and replace sundries as required
- Clean, mop and sanitise the kitchen and canteen areas to include utensils, equipment and appliances
Requirements of the Cleaning Operative
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and honest
- Previous commercial cleaning experience an advantage
- Ability to work to target
- Awareness of COSHH and safe working practises when using chemicals
- Ability to carry out manual handling, light lifting such as emptying bins etc.
