The Best Connection are seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in Skelmersdale. You will be driving a refrigerated trailer, delivering pallets of chilled and frozen food.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, start between 05:00 and 08:00.
Pay Rate: £15 per hour PAYE
Minimum Pay: 8 hours guaranteed per shift.
Duration: Recruiting to support the peak period of a busy client in the run up to Christmas.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Using a pump truck truck to load / unload at each delivery point.
• Deliveries and collections; around 2/3 per day. Delivery points are often kerb-side. 
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance regulations.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Experience with fridge trailers is advantageous.
