The Best Connection are recruiting a Business Development Manager for their successful based in East Yorkshire in a Permanent Position. If you are successful at what you do, passionate about maximising business opportunities and have a reputation for consistently delivering results in a freight forwarding environment, you’ll be a great fit!
The Role:
- Create a strong pipeline of targeted prospects and win new contracts for the business who provide freight forwarding solutions worldwide. Based in and around the North East with an office base in East Yorkshire.
- With opportunities to increase your earnings with a healthy commission structure on top of a very competitive salary, you’ll coordinate your own diary to allow you to get the best results.
What you’ll do:
- Consistently deliver results, working as part of a dynamic team focussed on customer success
- You will be motivated by gaining new business through the creation and management of a strong pipeline of prospects.
- Hunt down prospects, capture customer needs and present services
- Maximise the solution impact for each new opportunity
- Work with Operations and Sales support Teams to ensure the offer is compelling and robust
What you’ll bring:
- Success in winning consultative sales for Freight import/export
- Strong logistics experience
- Ability to work on your own initiative whilst following the sales process
- Ability to communicate and present at all levels within the organisation
- Great questioning and listening skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport and trust
- Recent/existing client relationships in logistical support
