The Best Connection are working in partnership with our client who operate a high quality food manufacturing site in Northallerton. They have a requirement for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the site on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance activities on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair any machinery issues
• Ensure equipment and machinery is up to date and running correctly
• Provide support to production and other engineering teams
• Carry out preventative maintenance
• Implement health and safety protocols

The candidate:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer
• Knowledge of PLC's and other machinery
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Understanding of health and safety protocols
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday
• 07.00am to 15.00pm

Salary:

• £34,000 p.a. + enhancement for completing alternate on call 
• Additional company benefits - pension etc.
