The Best Connection are working with our client based in Birtley and is a well-established engineering company.  Due to increased levels of business they now require a Brake Press Operator to start immediately.

Duties include:

• Set and running of Pyramid Roll Brake Press machine
• Checking height, depth and other tolerances using callipers and gauges
• Quality inspection of the product using visual and dimensional inspection
• Bend and form the product
• Working in a heavy industry environment

Hours of work:

• Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm
• Friday  7.00am – 12.00pm

Pay rate:

• £14.64 per hour basic rate for first 40 hours
• £21.96 per hour overtime rate after 40 hours worked
• £24.40 per hour overtime rate after 45 hours worked
