Our client, a leading manufacturer & supplier of top end wooden flooring, is looking to add an experienced Bench Joiner to their committed & dedicated team!

The ideal candidate will be required to:

• Work independently on tasks and be able to lead a small team
• Set up and operate the following equipment: saws, planers, spindle moulder, power tools.
• Plan daily work schedule
• Design of bespoke items
• CAD Drawing understanding
• Create documentation for production
• Execute jobs required on time alongside production operative
• Liaise with multiple departments on job requirements & issues
• Daily checks & maintenance of machinery
• Ensure consumables, tools & items required for production are kept stocked up and order as appropriate
• Arrange repairs & maintenance on machinery where appropriate
• Responsible for keeping the workshop, tidy and safe
• Report issues to Manager
• Weekly reports to Manager of work completed

The working hours are 0800 - 1630 Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to work overtime.

An immediate start is available after successful interview.

This vacancy could lead to full time after a successful qualifying period.
