The Best Connection Group LTD are looking for experienced 7.5 tonne drivers to work at one of our clients based in the Milton Keynes area.
A customer facing role working as part of a 2 man crew delivering various stock and materials across the region.
Monday - Friday Pay rate of £14.00, After 8 hours and Saturday @ £21.00 Sundays & B Holidays @ £28.00.
Start times vary from 0700 with a guaranteed pay of 8 hours per shift.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently to transport goods to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
Qualifications:
- A Full Valid UK Licence with Category C1 at a minimum of 2 years of experience
- A Valid CPC and Digital tacho card
- All drivers are required to have no more than 6 points and any DR, DG or DD endorsements will not be accepted.
- Good knowledge of the UK roads
- Clear and concise communication skills
