Warehouse Operative

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Metal expert business in the Poole area. The role is a varied one, with tasks such as operating/feeding saws to cut material, racking away goods, sweeping and tidy warehouse, making bespoke pallets etc.

Responsibilities:

• Goods in
• Load/unload deliveries
• Operate/feed saws to cut material
• Correctly store/locate material
• Keep working area tidy at all times
• Use forklift trucks

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in goods in and using computer system to accurately book in stock.
• Have a counterbalance FLT license
• Previous experience in an engineering environment, operating machinery and saws beneficial
• Great attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Able to be a team player and perform tasks as required

Whilst having previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, our client is willing to consider candidates from outside the industry and train them up on all necessary parts of the job, attitude and aptitude is important.

Working hours:

• 7am-4pm Monday to Friday

Pay Rate:

• £12.50
