Warehouse Operative

The Best Connection are seeking for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of one of our clients required for a busy warehouse. Please note you MUST have a full UK drivers Licence as for this role you will be covering drivers holidays and time off.

Salary: £11.50

Days: Monday to Thursday 0800 – 1700 and Fridays 0800 – 1600

This is a Temp2Perm position in which you will be permanent with the company after 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders
• Put away tasks, checking items off delivery notes and book them in.
• Receiving goods in
• Loading vans for deliveries
• Covering drivers holidays (occasional) – this might include driving in London
• Ensures work areas are kept clean, neat and well organised
• Health & safety awareness with training provided
• Reports any maintenance, fault or repair required
• Working at pace whilst maintaining standards
• Manual handling of products
• Have an eye for detail in order to carry out tasks efficiently

• Good communication skills
• Previous warehouse experience would be preferred however not essential.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
• Able to follow instructions
• Ability to work well with others
• Forklift certification preferred but not essential, training will be provided
