Contract Type: Temporary, Full time
The Best Connection are currently seeking Warehouse Managers to work for a logistics company in Southampton, Hampshire.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Assisting with the daily operations of a Freight company
- Managing a team of 15
- Ensuring deadlines are met
- Overseeing goods-in and good-out
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse
- Taking responsibility of incoming deliveries and relevant paperwork
- Recording any damaged or faulty goods
Job requirements:
- Previous management experience in the logistics sector
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to a deadline
- Ideally hold a Full UK driving licence
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office
- Health & Safety knowledge
Pay rate is dependent on experience and can be negotiable.
Hours of work can be flexible. Please note we have a two positions available, one for a Day shift manager and one for a Night shift Manager.
