Project Engineer

The Best Connection Bedford are currently recruiting for an Applications Engineer to join the team for our well-established client at their UK site in Bedford.

This is a skilled role that will require applicants to hold a minimum of a HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering and recent, relevant experience.

Hours of work are Monday-Friday based around 8.00am-5pm depending on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities of the Applications Engineer:

• Prepare Quotations for Customers whilst maintaining levels of Profitability
• Provide onsite support for all products worldwide including maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Provide technical support to sales team, distributors and customers.
• Create instruction and maintenance manuals for products using Microsoft packages
• Carry out project work at the request of the applications manager.
• Coordinate the submission of assembly drawings
• Any other duties related to the procurement of business and provide a high quality design and installation service.
